Hillside Nursery & Forest School is a Lancashire County Council maintained Nursery School offering places for children aged 2 to 4 years. We offer government funded places and Parent funded places to all children.
Through the Government funding scheme, families are entitled to 15 free hours per week during term time for all 3 and 4 year old children. For some families, 15 hours is available from 2 years.
We offer the free 15 hour places as morning or afternoon sessions, Monday to Friday, 5 days per week.
There is also the entitlement to 30 free hours per week during term time for working parents. This entitlement can be from 9 months old and as a school with this funding we can offer places from the day after your child turns two years old.
We offer these free 30 hours as a full time place Monday to Friday, 5 days per week.
Places are confirmed within the term prior to your child's start date. School will make contact with your to arrange a meeting.
